Who is responsible for your data

Contact form

When you send a message, the form collects your name, email address, message, and IP address. The IP address is used with the bot check and is included with the submitted enquiry to help prevent spam and abuse.

This information is used to respond to your enquiry, protect the form and website from misuse, and maintain the security of the service. The lawful basis is Rory Standley's legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and keeping the website secure. You do not have to use the form; however, the information marked as required is needed to respond through it.

Service providers and international transfers

Cloudflare provides website hosting and Turnstile bot protection. Resend delivers contact-form emails. These providers process personal data only to provide their services. Their services may process data in the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer applies, appropriate safeguards, such as contractual transfer safeguards, are used as required by applicable data-protection law. Retention

Contact-form messages and the information in them are retained for up to 24 months after the last correspondence, unless a longer period is necessary to deal with a legal claim, security incident, or legal obligation. They are then deleted or anonymised.

This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and it does not use browser storage for those purposes. It does not use a cookie-consent banner because it does not set non-essential cookies.
